The month of Ramadan is really a month of giving. Many NGOs, groups and individuals delivered or participated in giving off groceries or food items to needy families in Singapore and also across the region. I am sure those who gave their time and efforts had also seen with their own eyes the condition and state of life of those beneficiaries. It is saddened that till today there are still many of our community living in that state. I hope our leaders are looking into the matter seriously and set target to reduce the number of low income families amongst our community. The important of knowledge and upscale their way of life is important so that they then will be sustainable and eventually support others.
